Chaim Kiffel
Principal & Founder
Chaim founded EastSky Properties with Yossi Cohn in 2019. Prior to EastSky, Chaim has been an owner and operator of multifamily communities since 2009 as KC Asset Management, and since 2011 as a Principal at L3C Capital Partners. Chaim had previously co-founded with AIG in 1998 Israel's first mortgage insurance company, EMI, where he was CEO, and later served as Senior VP of AIG's mortgage guaranty business in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Chaim was formerly a partner at the law firm of Kirkland & Ellis. Chaim has a J.D., cum laude, from Northwestern University School of Law, where he was an editor on the Law Review, and a B.S. from Northeastern Illinois University.
Yossi Cohn
Principal & Founder
Yossi founded EastSky Properties with Chaim Kiffel in 2019. Prior to EastSky, Yossi has been an owner and operator of multifamily communities since 2009 as a Principal at L3C Capital Partners, and in partnership with Chaim since 2011. Yossi previously founded YY Capital Partners, an investment and advisory firm focused on middle market companies, before which he served as Director of Investor Relations for IDT Corporation (NYSE: IDT), and Director of Research for a U.K. based family office, SAGEN Asset Management. Yossi began his career as an analyst at Millburn Ridgefield Corporation within the firm’s Fund of Funds investment group. Yossi presently serves on the Board of Directors and Audit Committee of Pioneer Power Solutions (NASDAQ: PPSI). Yossi received his BA from Yeshiva University.
Michael Stewart
Chief Operating Officer
Michael serves as Chief Operating Officer for EastSky overseeing all facets of the company’s operations. Michael began his career at BDMG as a financial analyst and manager of operations. In 2016 he joined L3C Capital Partners as an asset management analyst, eventually moving to become overall director of operations. Michael received his BA Summa Cum Laude from Excelsior University.
Zach Sanfield
Director of Capital Projects
Zach serves as EastSky’s Director of Capital Projects, overseeing all renovation and capital projects, and working closely with onsite staff to streamline day-to-day operations. Zach joined L3C Capital Partners in 2018 to support the asset management group in project management. Zach graduated from Touro University with a degree in business management and holds an MBA from the University of Baltimore.
Paul Kutufaris
Managing Director
Paul has served as managing director of Briarwood Construction since 2018, overseeing portfolio-wide construction activities. Paul first joined Briarwood in 2016, prior to which he spent 25 years at SB Conrad General Construction overseeing construction projects in the public and private sectors, primarily in the metro Philadelphia market. Paul graduated from Penn State University in 1991.
Annie Crosby
Controller
Annie serves as Controller of EastSky Properties. Prior to joining EastSky in 2022, Annie worked as Director of Financial Planning & Analysis for the Diplomat Group, Accounting Manager in Brookfield Asset Management’s hospitality sector, and in Ernst & Young’s audit practice. Annie is a CPA and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Maryland with degrees in accounting and finance.
